How GoldPrompt handles the information that comes with running a membership.
01 Who this policy covers
This policy applies to anyone who visits [your domain here] or holds a GoldPrompt membership. "We," "us," and "GoldPrompt" refer to the operator of this site; "you" refers to a visitor or member.
02 What we collect
- Account details: the name and email address you sign up with.
- Billing details: billing address and the last four digits of your card. Full card numbers are never stored by us — our payment processor handles that.
- Support messages: whatever you send us through the contact form or by email, including your address, so we can reply.
- Basic usage data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) kept briefly for security and troubleshooting.
03 Where it comes from
Directly from you, when you sign up, message us, or manage your membership. Our payment processor also shares limited transaction data with us — enough to confirm a payment went through, not your full card details. Our email provider shares delivery and bounce data so we know each batch actually arrived.
04 Why we collect it
- To run your membership: take payment, send each month's batch, and handle renewals or cancellations.
- To answer support requests and keep a record of prior conversations.
- To keep the site secure and catch abuse or fraud.
- To meet tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.
We do not use your data to build an advertising profile, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.
05 Who we share it with
- Payment processor — to take recurring payments and issue refunds.
- Email delivery provider — to send your monthly batch and any account notices.
- Hosting provider — to keep the site and its data running.
- Law enforcement or regulators, only if we're legally required to.
None of these partners are permitted to use your data for their own marketing.
06 How long we keep it
- Billing records: kept for as long as required by tax law in our jurisdiction (typically several years).
- Active membership data: kept while your membership is active, plus a short window afterward in case you resubscribe or dispute a charge.
- Support emails: kept as long as needed to resolve the matter and for a reasonable period after.
07 Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may be able to ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. To ask, email us at the address below with the email your membership uses. We'll confirm your identity before acting on the request and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
08 Cookies
This site uses only the cookies needed for it to function (for example, remembering that you dismissed a banner). We don't run third-party ad or tracking cookies.
09 Children
GoldPrompt isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll remove it.
10 Security
We use standard safeguards — encrypted connections, restricted access to stored data, and a payment processor that is PCI-compliant — but no system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute protection.
11 Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful change to how we handle your data, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where required, let active members know by email.
